Tweeting Tips
Be careful not to type something right in front of an @name or it won’t hyperlink.
You wouldn’t type I like@JoeSmith – it won’t link
Why people put a dot in front of an @name at the beginning of a tweet
.@KilohanaLihgt is fantastic –
What this does is allow all of my followers to see the tweet
If I tweet
@KilohanaLight is fantanstic
ONLY followers of @KilohanaLight will get it in their Twitter feed.
Ways to RT.
Hootsuite – is classic RT – make a comment before
Great Vid! RT @JoeSmith here is a vid of my cat
Native RT is from Twitter.com (with the classic RT extension you have this option)
Tweeting from THEIR ICON
VIA is the another option – use at the end of the tweet.
MT – modified tweet
