Admiring Calvin Lee’s Twittelator Pull Twitpic For Tweets

December 15, 2009 By Linda Sherman 2 Comments

I’ve noticed that some Twitter platforms pull tweets through Twitpic while others don’t.

Once one has put some history on Twitpic, it can be addictive.

I see that Calvin Lee used Twittelator for most of his Twitpic stream which does pull through his tweets.

Calvin spends 8 hours a day on Twitter and he is very adept at the mechanics of it on mobile.

You can see on my Twitpic stream that when I used to use Echofon (Twitterfon) it pulled my tweets. I love Tweetie 2 on my iPhone, but it doesn’t pull my tweets for Twitpic. Neither does Seesmic.

For the time being, when I use Seesmic, Tweetdeck (desktop) or iPhone Tweetie 2, I need to remember to keep my photo default to yfrog because it appears that none of those platforms pulls through tweets for twitpic.

A recorded tweeted photo is just nicer with the tweet.

Good memories of a great #140conf LA Meetup and after party.

I caught how robust yfrog is when I saw Chris Brogan proudly tweet an article about his daughter Violette.

I didn't realize how robust @yfrog was till I saw @ChrisBrogan http://bit.ly/4UcFOv Violette Brogan story.

@twittelator posts full size of the photo from my iphone. It doesn’t resize @twitpic to smaller versions like Tweetie.
