Selling My SXSW Interactive Ticket

February 24, 2011 By Linda Sherman 1 Comment

I have attended SXSW three times. You will have fun, meet people and learn stuff. Austin is a great town. Unfortunately, after planning and booking to attend this since last year, I need to skip this year.

So here is the deal. The current SXSW Interactive All Inclusive badge price is $750. It is easy to transfer my ticket through the SXSW website so that you are officially and properly registered. They do charge a $100 transfer fee.

I will pay the transfer fee. I just want $600 from you. That is a $150 savings for you.

SXSW also allows us to transfer my hotel room to you if you want it. My hotel is a solid hotel on the SXSW official shuttle route for a great price. (SXSW housing rates are no longer available for any of the hotels). I am also on the Priority Waiting List for a similar hotel room at the same price walking distance to the convention center, which would also transfer. The hotel room is booked for March 11 to March 15 at $109/night – two double beds.

We can arrange the payment from you to me easily to my Paypal account.

Meet the Twitter elite: @MayhemStudios Calvin Lee and @AdventureGirl Stefanie Michaels
(The wonderful @JamieCrager is coming to SXSWi this year for the first time, expressly looking forward to finally meeting in person as many as possible of the 60,000+ followers he has who have said they will be there.)

High profile speakers. I was particularly excited about meeting Joichi Ito in person. @Joi is a huge player in both Japan and internationally

UPDATE: My SXSWi pass is now sold to @ASHR Ashley Raiteri. More on this whole process soon. Twitter was a wonderful platform to make this happen. Thank you so much to everyone who passed on my ticket sale on Twitter!

Did they take your hotel reservation too? I’m desperate to find a place to stay closer than Round Rock.
