Try manually editing the post’s HTML and removing the < br > and < br/ > tags.
@Talsh Thank you! The lovely little square blue HTML (edit HTML source) icon. Do you know any easy way to insert images into a Posterous post without sending by email? I tried using insert image codes from Flickr and that didn’t work.
Thank you to @Kr8t for a suggestion on how to add the preview post function to Posterous: Set up in a WordPress blog draft.
<div dir="ltr">Gmail (and most other mail clients) can insert images in the message rather than as an attachment: just use the "Insert Image" button. That's what I do. I have tried the flickr image codes and they've worked fine. Keep in mind that you need to paste the flickr code when editing your post's HTML.<br> <blockquote style="margin: 1.5em 0pt;">Tal Shafik</blockquote><br><br></div>
And I agree. Posterous really should update their web editor now that more and more people are using it as their main blog
@Talsh Do you know if there is any plan to enable meta title and description tags on Posterous? I would think that would be a consideration if people are using it as a main blog.
<div dir="ltr">Not that I know of. You can enter metadata for the blog itself, not for individual posts, as far as I know.<br><br></div>
I also miss some post editing functions, can’t easily insert images.
